What a splendid day. We benefitted from surprisingly good weather, lots of rainbows and gorgeous cloudscapes. Macdara, our guide and driver, was excellent! He kept us safe and on time. His explanations and stories of Irish history and notable figures tied to the places we traveled filled the drive time with meaningful information. His instructions at each site were precise and helpful. Kudos to our fellow passengers for always returning to the bus on time. The Abbey offered so many options; we chose to spend our time enjoying a delicious lunch at the cafeteria (the vegan vegetable stew was fresh and tasty) and then walking one of the trails along the water. Thanks Lally tours!★

DJ was an excellent driver and guide. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and accommodating. The vehicle was exceptionally clean, he even wiped the condensation off of our windows so we had clear visibility as we travelled. Highly recommend!★

I took a private tour of the Great Wall and the Summer Palace. Since our trip coincided with the Chinese holidays on October 4th, we contacted the driver and asked him to pick us up early. We left at 7 a.m., which saved us a ton of time on the road and in lines at the top of the mountain. The wall is magnificent, there weren't too many people, and the photos turned out great!★

Luggage can be left in the car the whole time, so there's no need to move it around while exploring Huanglong. It's much more convenient than those shuttle buses, saving you time and effort. The Huanglong scenic area itself is also incredibly beautiful; the Five-Colored Pool sparkles in the sunlight, and every photo you take looks like a professional shot.
