The 17 mile drive loop is amazing but many sections have no dedicated bike lane so you’re right up against traffic. Tourists in cars are busy taking in the sights and the locals are generally annoyed by the tourists on bikes and in cars so can be a bit nerve wracking if you don’t have much experience on a bike. Obviously nothing the tour operators can do about any of this but, just a heads up!★

Enjoyable day! George was our driver/tour guide, and he did an exceptional job of giving us history, data, points, and other general information. The drive is spectacular. Period. I would recommend sitting on the right hand side of the bus. Perfect amount of time in both Carmel and Monterey. Would’ve liked another 15 minutes at Pebble.★
