Such a beautiful and unique experience we had today. Our guide, Monica, was so passionate and engaging throughout and clearly has a strong love for Etna and Catania. It was really lovely getting to know everything about the volcano and the little interesting stopovers along the way! An enriching experience and one that was worth absolutely every penny. And the sunset 😍 Me and my friend Stephanie loved it. Completely recommend!!★

A wonderful experience! We were picked up in the morning from our doorstep, and by 9:00 we were at the Sapienza refuge. From there, Francesco, our guide, took us on a walk of about two hours through the snow and the spectacular landscape of Etna! The walk lasted two hours because Francesco explained so much to us, it wasn't tiring at all, and what's more, we hadn't planned this excursion, so we just had sneakers and jeans, so we had no problems. After the walk, we stopped at the refuge for a quick lunch and then continued to the lava cave, another wonderful experience! Then we went to a winery for a tasting, perhaps the least beautiful part because it wasn't as evocative as the previous ones, but enjoyable nonetheless. By 4:00 pm, we were back at our doorstep. We went on this excursion with four teenagers who weren't easy to impress or get interested, but they came back enthusiastically! Francesco was a very kind and friendly guide. This morning we realized we'd forgotten some gloves in the van, and this evening he came to the house to bring them back... truly speechless! Thanks again for the beautiful day and for convincing me to join the walk!★

I had a fantastic 4h tour with Sara (in French), with many beautiful places, streets, churches and historical places visited. We also went to some markets and tried some delicious local food. I could get a good insight of Catania’s history and all the different influences that are making this city so special. She also recommended many more activities and restaurants to go too.
It’s always nice to book a guide as he/she can take you to some hidden gems you wouldn’t find on your own. Also as it was my first time in Sicily, I wanted to have an introduction to the local culture before continuing the visit of the island on my own.
