This day trip to Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort and Ubi Valley Glacier was a fantastic experience overall!
The transportation from Seoul was smooth, and the tour guide was incredibly friendly and attentive, clearly explaining the itinerary and important information along the way, which was very reassuring. It was especially thoughtful for our family with children.
The ski resort was well-equipped, and the instructors provided clear explanations, allowing even first-time skiers to quickly pick up the skills. The kids had a blast! The glacier scenery at Ubi Valley was spectacular, perfect for taking beautiful photos. The entire itinerary was perfectly timed, not too rushed.
The clothing rental process was smooth, and the staff were very friendly. It was a fulfilling and worthwhile day trip, highly recommended for families with children or anyone wanting to experience winter activities in Korea!

Very good package - you can choose whether you need the instructor which luckily I did get that package. From pick up from the train station till the drop off everything is very streamlined and efficient. Staff is also great. I thought that I had booked an English instructor but was given a Chinese instructor, no big deal but an English instructor would make it better★

The group consisted of seven people, with the guide acting as both driver and ski instructor. The guide was friendly and proactively helped with taking photos. However, the meeting point was Hongdae, and traffic between Hongdae and Myeongdong is frequently congested. On the return trip, the guide subtly suggested getting off at Dongdaemun and taking the MRT back to Hongdae independently. It's recommended to join a local tour and choose accommodations in Myeongdong or Dongdaemun for better experience.
