We really enjoyed it! We had a guide, Thomas, who loves his job, so he took great care of us and explained everything in a very interesting way.

A rather unusual experience, a very magical and beautiful location with hot springs where monkeys live (absolutely calm and do not pay attention to people), but be mentally prepared for a long journey (4 hours one way).
Reviews: Nagano: Snow Monkeys, Zenkoji Temple & Sake Day Trip

We had a fantastic day with our guide Hiroshi, his knowledge was great. The temple visit and sake tasting left us wanting to return and spend more time in the area. Lunch was delicious and the monkeys were very entertaining.
Reviews: Winter-exclusive Light Show|Nagoya Inuyama Castle & Ena Gorge & Magome & Tsumago 1-Day Tour

I think this is a place worth visiting. The snack shops near Ena Gorge have incredibly delicious strawberries, only 1000 yen a bag. The strawberry flavor is exceptionally sweet; in Nagoya, a bag of strawberries would cost at least 1500 yen. The roasted sweet potatoes are also delicious. Tsumarajuku is truly beautiful, perfect for taking photos.

Ricky was an excellent guide, explaining the itinerary and attractions on the bus and accompanying us on the way to Longshen Waterfall. He even lent us his umbrella when it rained. Five stars!
