A huge thank you to Séverine for this tour of the Forbidden City. Séverine is very professional, her directions to the meeting point were crystal clear, she is very attentive, and she anticipates her clients' needs. She speaks perfect French and has a deep understanding of Chinese civilization, which she conveys with great clarity. The tour impressed us with the richness of the monuments and the details provided by Séverine, which brought them to life. Thank you again to Séverine and the team for allowing us to return home filled with wonder.

The highest level of professionalism! He explained everything without even knowing the language. I want to express my deepest gratitude to our guide for a unique excursion. Before the tour, I was worried I wouldn't understand anything due to the language barrier (I don't speak English). But my guide turned out to be a true master of his craft! He found ways to convey information, pointed out details on maps, and communicated through a translator. Thanks to his patience and desire to truly explain, not just memorize, I not only understood everything but was completely engaged. This was an invaluable experience and a truly human touch. Thank you for this trip! I definitely recommend him to anyone who isn't confident in their English.
Reviews: [Summer Palace - Premium Guided Tour] In-depth commentary by guide / Morning session / Afternoon session / Private tour options available / Wireless headsets provided - Admission ticket not included

Touring the Summer Palace with Professor Chen Yi, the "Top Scholar in Beijing," every scene becomes a vivid history lesson. Looking at the marble boat, Professor Chen explains how it embodies the ingenious design of Emperor Qianlong, who believed it could neither be submerged by water nor burned by fire. Gazing at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, she details the wondrous spectacle of "golden light piercing through the arches" during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Climbing the Tower of Buddhist Incense, she analyzes the architectural wisdom and imperial beliefs embedded in the layered buildings. Through Professor Chen's exposition, the ripples of Kunming Lake and the soaring eaves of the ancient buildings become a fingertip glimpse into Qing Dynasty history and garden art, transforming the visit into an immersive journey of cultural discovery.

Very average lounge didn’t have much time to enjoy it but ultimately, good enough for a few hours to rest and rehydrate.
Reviews: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Glacier Cableway + Blue Moon Valley + Scenic Sightseeing Train

This was a shared tour itinerary; it was just the two of us plus one family of three. -7:10 The driver picked us up from the hotel, and we set off to watch the sunrise. -8:00-8:30 Spruce Meadow Cableway -Blue Moon Valley to -12:00-12:30 Glacier Cableway -16:45-17:00 Return train. We were very satisfied with the itinerary. Tickets for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Glacier Cableway are extremely difficult to get, but this tour included both cableway and train tickets. The driver was very steady; he only took us to Ganhaizi for the sunrise, then to the visitor center, and then we were on our own. The person in charge frequently checked on us via WeChat, asking if the driver had picked us up, if we had arrived at the Spruce Meadow Cableway, and reminding us of the Glacier Cableway boarding and alighting times. Very thoughtful. We missed the return train because there were too many people getting off the cable car, but it was okay; we just took a Didi (ride-hailing service) back to the hotel. Highly recommended.
