It was a nice walk in the city center. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. His stories are animated.
The walk was just right in terms of distance and duration. There were many of us in the tour but it was very organized and our guide made sure we were fully engaged.
This is a really nice way to spend the evening in York. I highly recommend.β

York by boat was a delightful and relaxing way to see the city and hear live commentary about historical aspects of the centre. The journey was about 45 minutes and the cruise was smooth although it was a windy day. Our group was able to capture pretty and scenic aspects from the river Ouse!β

Local to York and have been many times, however, the tour took us to places that I have never noticed but will go back to again. Varied route, a good mixture of tricky to easier to solve clues, a few kept us (and others we saw) guessing.
Gets the brain working while experiencing this magnificent city.
Took us a little longer than advertised as we wanted to take in the surroundings and stop for refreshments.

My Wife and I booked to go on the Historical Gems Tour & Taste of York Chocolate on Thursday 12th Sept 2024.
We canβt thank Sherlombo enough for an amazing and entertaining tour, he was not only incredibly knowledgable and professional, but also warm, entertaining and engaging. Even though there were only 4 people on the tour he kept in character the whole time, and played an excellent part.
Sherlombo was an fantastic tour guide and canβt thank him enough for his time, and will definitely be booking more tours with yourselves next time we come to York or any of the major cities in the UK as this was great value for money.ξ₯
