I was the only person booked on and the crew were so brilliant and accommodating. Andrea led the tour and gave lots of information on the buildings and sites. An excellent tour!

This is the only tour where we’ve been given some restaurant recommendations with extra tidbits about each one, broken down by city, and a history lesson along with additional recommendations on places to visit during our stay and why we might be interested, weeks in advance, so we could book, we were thrilled with all of his suggestions and went to places we never would’ve thought of. That alone was worth its value. The tour was incredible, and Giacomo made it feel like an immersion in history. I usually find history boring, but he brought it to life and made it fun, exciting, and meaningful. We realized more of the actual experiences of what life was like centuries ago, on the very streets where we strolled. He answered all our questions on the tour. Giacomo used all of our senses to carry us back into another time, it was easy to imagine the various frightening, intimidating, entertaining, intelligent, funny, and clever characters of centuries past, and what it took to survive.

I visited early on a weekday morning and the visit was so peaceful! I enjoyed learning about the history of the monastery that includes how it became a monastery, daily life of the nuns, food and food preparation, sleeping quarters, washing clothes, burial practices, and worship. The garden and burial quarters were so peaceful and wonderful to visit!

Reviews: Vintage Bus Tour: Aviation Museum & Mosta Church inc Platter

I loved this tour! Pick up via minibus was on time and took us to meet the old Maltese bus, driver and guide Miriam. The old bus from the 1930’s was fabulous! Wooden and rickety and such a novelty. We went to the Malta Aviation society and had a tour around the facility learning about the history of the planes and their pilots. A very informative and enjoyable tour! We then headed to Mosta for a quick tour of the WW2 bunker before a guided tour of the ‘Miracle’ church. It is beautiful. After we went for a Maltese platter in the cafe nearby. It was very tasty and the staff were very friendly. We then were brought to meet our minibus driver back to the hotel. Overall a great way to spend a Saturday morning with a friendly driver and great guide.
