This was a Christmas activity for our family of 5 as we celebrated in Tromso. It is a must-do experience for anyone visiting to enjoy this and learn about the Sami culture. It is a 45-minute journey from Tromso with an amazing view of the snow mountains. You are free to feed and take pictures with the reindeer for around the hour. The main hall is warm and has bread, tea, and hot chocolate. Lunch was bidos (reindeer stew) or vegetarian. Then, a sharing was done by John who is from northern Sami where he shared about customs, reindeers, gakti, etc. Weather is a huge factor in these trips and the tour bus could not return to us for pickup - with an hour’s delay, the crew was very apologetic and hardworking, arranging alternative transport on two smaller Mercedes vans. This experience was memorable and I highly recommend it for the exposure with lovely people!★

We took 2 different trips with 2 different companies, we preferred this one the most, even if the lights weren't quite as bright. (which isn't the tours fault)
If wasn't that cold, but thermal suits are nice when you are standing outside in the snow for so low. They also made hot drinks and had cookies/snacks.
Bus was comfortable, and we knew it didn't have a toilet which wasn't an issue.
We really enjoyed our tour guide and driver, who talked about different topics as we went, also quiet time. She was super excited about sharing the lights and her stories were interesting. She even sang some of the indigenous throat songs which was unique, and later came out into camp singing as Santa Lucia as it was December 13th which was her celebration day.★

Had the most amazing experience in Tromso chasing the northern lights! The tour group were amazing & after poor weather on first night my sister & I decided to do a second night & so glad we did! The lights were exceptional & our guide was great!! Really great group of people & tour. Highly recommend!!★

We had an absolutely wonderful snowshoe hike and couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Everything was perfectly organized, and the landscape was simply breathtaking. Our guide was outstanding – knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely enthusiastic. He shared so many interesting stories and insights along the way, which made the tour not only beautiful but also truly enriching. A very special highlight was enjoying hot chocolate out in nature – and honestly, it was the best chocolate we have ever had. Such a cozy, thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable. Thank you so much for this unforgettable adventure. We felt very well taken care of and would recommend this tour to anyone looking for something truly special.★
