Teacher Mao was very professional. A native of Shanghai, she was extremely familiar with Yu Garden and provided a very detailed explanation throughout the tour. The process wasn't tiring at all. We heard many stories about the garden, some of which weren't even online but were only recorded in the county annals. It was very vivid and interesting. She even took us to the City God Temple before the tour ended. It was definitely worth the trip! Yu Garden truly needs a guided tour; otherwise, you simply won't understand it! This trip was very worthwhile!â

The guide skillfully translated complex evolutionary concepts (such as the relationship between angiosperms and dinosaurs, and marine life on land) into language children could understand, providing comparisons with on-site fossils and specimens. Although some specimens were deemed "ugly" or "fake," this ironically became engaging points of discussion during the tour. For parents who want their children to gain a deeper understanding of natural science, this was a high-quality visit.â

We went with two children, ages 6 and 3. We all really enjoyed the tour, stopping twice to watch fish for 45 minutes each. The boat was comfortable, and you slowly float along, admiring the sea. We spent an hour and a half on the island; the water was clear, and there were lots of crabs and fish. The lunch was also good: mild soup, salads, tofu, watermelon, chicken, and shrimp. Drinks are at your own expense, or bring your own! I highly recommend it đâ

In the morning, we were picked up from the hotel and taken to the tour bus. Our Chinese-speaking guide provided a wonderful explanation of Malacca's history, and was very helpful in explaining important details at each attraction. Lunch was a delicious local meal, and we enjoyed it immensely. On the return trip, we were dropped off near the hotel. Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip.îĽ
