Fantastic guide. Took his time and knew a lot about the history and current policies of the J.C. ArenA.

Reviews: Zaanse Schans Windmills, Clogs and Dutch Cheese Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam

I would absolutely recommend this trip. Our guide, Caroline, was just lovely, very knowledgeable, and shared lots of interesting information about both the places we visited and Amsterdam itself. It wasn’t a trip where you’re talked at constantly. She gave us just the right amount of information, keeping it engaging without ever becoming boring. We loved seeing the windmills, learning about clogs, and watching the cheese making, plus the tasting was fantastic. Make sure you try the rum hot chocolate, it’s delicious 😍 Our driver, David, was also super friendly and gave us great suggestions for the area. We can’t thank Caroline and David enough, it was a really fab start to our trip to Amsterdam.

Allow yourself at least an hour for your visit. Explore all the galleries. Take your time to listen and observe, especially the temporary exhibits.

Several exhibitions. The exhibition by Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf is a must. We were less impressed with the rest.
