The arcade city refers to the continuous arcade group in Wuzhou Hedong Old Town. The arcades are not uncommon in the south, but not many can be called "city". This arcade in Wuzhou is not only well preserved, but also one of the best in terms of architectural concentration and scale in my country. From Dadongshang Road to Beihuan Road and Guilin Road, you can see not only Nanyang-style and Baroque-style arcades, but also many historical buildings and old houses. Of course, there are also many specialty shops and delicious snacks. When the merchants were prosperous, there were more than 1,500 large and small businesses in the arcade city. The former glory has long since faded, and the small shops along the street are running their own business and have become a tepid leisure area. There are many sculptures reflecting the style of Wuzhou on the street, showing the life scenes of the citizens of Wuzhou in the old days. Walking on the street between the arcades, the huge statue of the Dragon Mother in the distance quietly overlooks the old city. In the midst of this prosperous change, many historical relics are still preserved. The former site of the Dadong Post Office on Dadong Shang Road, from which a telegram was sent in 1884, is still reserved as a post office today. There are many beautiful modern dwellings in Weixinli. The deep-walled compound and the exquisite carvings are worth savoring. The Catholic Church built in 1898 is also located here. Walking in the arcade city, there are many specialty shops along the street, and Wuzhou specialty snacks are also not to be missed.Wuzhou · 20.8 km from Fengkai

Polar Adventure features ice and snow landscapes, where visitors can see adorable penguins, polar bears, and beluga whales. As the name suggests, Dolphin Cove focuses on dolphin viewing; the rides in Rainforest Flight are the most thrilling and adventurous in the entire park, with many attractions to try, including the Parrot Coaster, which climbs nearly 20 stories high before plunging down at full speed. Along the central axis with Ocean Avenue are Hengqin Sea and Ocean Wonders. The Hengqin Sea area features a musical fountain and an evening fireworks show. Ocean Wonders is a large whale shark exhibit hall housing many rare species of fish. Recommended things to do All areas of the theme park feature different amusement rides and marine animals. Elephant Hill Scenic Area

The Elephant Hill Scenic Area is located in the heart of Guilin, at the confluence of the Li River and the Peach Blossom River. It derives its name from its resemblance to a giant elephant stretching its trunk to drink from the sweet waters of the Li River. In his work "Records of Elephant Hill," Shu Shu, a Qing Dynasty official from the Ministry of Works, wrote: "The marvels of Guangxi lie in its mountains; the marvels of Guangxi's mountains lie in their rocks, and the elephant-shaped hill facing the provincial capital is the most marvelous of all." With its lifelike form, the attraction captivates visitors and stands as a quintessential representation of Guilin's landscape. In 1995, it was designated as the city emblem of Guilin. The main attractions in the scenic area include: Elephant Hill and Water Moon, Puxian Pagoda, Elephant Hill Scenic Area and Guilin Sanhua Liquor, Elephant Hill Scenic Area - Love Island, and Elephant Hill Scenic Area - Yunfeng Temple Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Exhibition Hall. Elephant trunk hill and water moon cave "Elephant trunk hill and water moon" is a spectacular wonder here, as described in the poem by Ji Bei Hermit of the Song Dynasty.Harmony of water, moon and caveThe poem reads: "The moon is beneath the water, the moon floats upon the water. The water flows but the moon stays, the moon departs yet the water still flows." On a moonlit night, visiting the Water Moon Cave at the Elephant Trunk Hill attraction presents a magical scene where the moon in the sky, the cave, and the water reflect each other beautifully. Inside the cave, you can find the "Poem and Preface of the Morning Sun Pavilion" by Zhang Xiaoxiang from the Song Dynasty and works by Fan Chengda.Inscription on the water and moon caveAnd over 50 precious cliff carvings including Lu You's poetry manuscripts. Xiangshan scenic area - Puxian pagoda Winding up along the rocky cliffs, you can see the Puxian pagoda standing tall amidst the greenery from afar. Built during the Ming dynasty, this 13.6m-high solid brick lama-style pagoda has a history of over 400 years. On the northern side of the pagoda, there is a line-engraved bluestone statue of a bodhisattva, with the mantra "Namo Puxian Bodhisattva" inscribed above it, hence the name Puxian pagoda in the Xiangshan attraction. Buddhist scriptures record that Puxian bodhisattva's mount is a six-tusked white elephant, making the pagoda's location atop Xiangshan mountain a perfect embodiment of this scripture. Elephant Hill Scenic Area and Guilin Sanhua liquor This is a natural wine cellar, with two-thirds of the mountain being hollow. It stays warm in winter and cool in summer, maintaining a constant temperature of 19°C and humidity above 90% year-round. Since the Song Dynasty, it has served as an official cellar for storing Sanhua wine. Sanhua wine is colorless and transparent, with a fragrant yet spicy taste. It drawsLi RiverWith the essence of the mountains and the soul of the Li River, it has become a representative of China's rice-aroma liquor. The cellar liquor was designated as a tribute to the imperial court as early as the Northern Song Dynasty and is one of the three treasures of Guilin. To date, nearly a thousand tons of liquor are stored in the caves. Love island Love island is located on the north side of the attraction, adjacent toLi RiverIt is another scenic viewpoint for distant viewing. The island boasts a beautiful environment and lush vegetation, making it a popular dating spot for locals in the 1970s, hence the name "love island". Today, it serves as an outdoor photography base for wedding celebrations against the backdrop of Guilin's landscape, where couples make their vows of love under the witness of the elephant trunk hill and the moon reflected in the water.China · Guilin

Guangzhou Tower, a landmark of Guangzhou, stands at a towering 600 meters including its antenna, making it one of the most famous towers in China. From its top, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Guangzhou. Its slender and elegant shape has earned it the nickname "Slim Waist." At night, the tower lights up, making it a perfect spot for photography, even if you don't go inside. The tower is divided into five functional zones from A to E. Zone A at the base showcases Guangzhou's history, culture, economy, and tourist attractions, along with providing tourist services. Zone E at the top offers dining, entertainment, and an observation deck. It's recommended to arrive at the tower by 3:30 PM, queue for security and tickets, and reach the top by 4:30-5:00 PM to catch the sunset. The overall scenery is average, and admission is free for locals. Entering from the north gate reveals the newly built Dragon Mother Temple. It's recommended to enter from the southwest gate to see the old temple, which is more popular with worshippers. The path to the Dragon Mother statue is entirely up to steps, which might be a bit strenuous for those with mobility issues; if you walk quickly, you can complete the tour in about an hour.

Exploring Wuzhou was a breezy adventure — especially discovering White Cloud Mountain! 🌳🏞️ If you’re a Sri Lankan traveler (or just love lush forest vibes), worry not: this isn’t a “hardcore” high-altitude climb, but a gentle escape into nature with that classic rain forest feel.My Tip: Don’t be intimidated by the word “mountain”—it's more of a green hill with shady woodland paths, great for a chill walk or picnic. Even during the rainy season, it’s not slippery or dangerous, so you can enjoy the natural mist and fresh air. Wear comfy walking shoes; the trails suit all fitness levels.Food Recommendation: There are a few neighborhood noodle shops nearby — try the Guilin Rice Noodles for a quick bite after your hike.Travel Tips: No need for advanced tickets or special gear. The weather is humid but manageable (an umbrella helps if you visit in rainy season). Cash or mobile payments both work, but always good to have some yuan.#Wuzhou #WhiteCloudMountain #ChinaNature #RainForestVibes #tripdotcom

Walking along the stone paths of the Cultural Park, I was met by quaint buildings with soaring eaves, carved beams, and painted rafters, imbued with Lingnan style. Each building seemed to tell a story from the past, inviting me to stop and admire. The park was shaded by lush trees and vibrant flowers, and the air was filled with a delicate fragrance, creating a refreshing and soothing atmosphere. What captivated me most was the exquisite Lingnan Garden. It featured flowing bridges, rockery, ponds, pavilions, and towers, all ingeniously laid out, offering a unique scene at every turn. Strolling along the winding paths, admiring the koi carp frolicking in the pond and listening to the distant birdsong, I felt as if I had lost track of time. In the Cultural Park's exhibition area, I also saw many traditional Lingnan handicrafts, such as exquisite Guangdong embroidery, delicate ceramics, and unique paper-cuts. These works showcase the wisdom and exquisite craftsmanship of the Lingnan people and gave me a deeper understanding of Lingnan culture. This trip to Lingnan Cultural Park allowed me to appreciate the unique charm of Lingnan culture and made me love this land full of cultural heritage even more.

The views from the upper floors of the hotel facing the park are quite nice, and you can see the fireworks at night. Kudos to the front desk staff! Taking a taxi from Zhuhai Station, you can easily find the hotel lobby directly. It takes about 40 minutes. Taking a taxi from Hengqin Port nearby is closer. Check-in is at 3 PM. You can check in at the lobby, store your luggage, and then go to the park. After 3 PM, you'll receive a text message with your group room number and assigned area. You can order takeout, but the takeout point is at the bus stop outside the hotel lobby near the Glacier Zone rooms. I was assigned an Ocean Zone room, which was quite a distance to get there. I suggest ordering inside the park and picking it up on your way back. However, the hotel currently offers a free buffet breakfast the next day with a single buffet dinner purchase, which is quite convenient. The room is spacious and has a sterilizer, which is fantastic! The bed is also very large; I think two adults and one child could sleep comfortably. The entire park and hotel are very family-friendly, especially with children. The paths are flat, making it easy to push a stroller. Some attractions require going down stairs to enter. The 5D effects were quite good. I recommend sitting in the middle of the first row of the second area, because the screen is very large and you can't see everything if you're too close. This area is very spacious, allowing you to stretch your legs freely, and at the end, a small plane flies overhead. These past few days, it was during elementary school holidays, so only the rides had queues; everything else was free. If you're an adult traveling alone, the park isn't as fun, and most shows are concentrated in the afternoon and evening, so I basically finished everything in half a day. I didn't try the roller coasters or other rides because I had just returned from Hong Kong Disneyland and wasn't very interested. If you're looking for shows and animal attractions, I've been to Dalian Tiger Beach three times already, and I think that's enough. Unless you're in a nearby province or city, there's no need to fly all the way to Zhuhai just for this; it's not particularly suitable for adults. In short, if you're in a nearby province or city, it's definitely a popular destination for family trips.

I really enjoyed it. The animals seemed very free and roamed around, allowing for close-up observation. My daughter fed the giraffes and flamingos, which was a wonderful experience. I also loved the spider monkeys. The zookeeper was lovely and very patient in explaining things. I would definitely go again if I had the chance.

I think 300 yuan per person is great value for money. It includes a free cable car ride for a panoramic view of the entire park, and a free mini-train ride for a close-up look at the animals on the African savanna – you get to see everything from different angles. We also spent 300 yuan to drive through the park and get a more intimate look at the animals – a very immersive experience. It wasn't the weekend, so it wasn't too crowded. The park staff were very responsible in their explanations. We also ordered a three-person set meal inside the park, which was a bit pricey, but reasonable for the park's price.

When visiting Guilin, a must-see is Elephant Trunk Hill, the city's iconic landmark. It truly lives up to its reputation as the face of Guilin's landscape; only by seeing it in person can one truly appreciate the wonders of nature. The entire mountain sits on the banks of the Li River, resembling a giant elephant bowing to drink from the water. The Water Moon Cave cuts through the mountain, its reflection shimmering in the water, creating the famous Elephant Trunk Hill and Water Moon spectacle—a flowing ink painting. The scenic area is clean and comfortable, with walking paths built along the Li River, shaded by lush trees, making for a delightful stroll. You can climb the mountain for panoramic views of Guilin, or find classic vantage points along the riverbank to capture stunning, atmospheric photos. Boat trips are also available, offering a different and breathtaking perspective of Elephant Trunk Hill from the river. The scenic area is conveniently located in the city center, with excellent transportation and comprehensive facilities. Every step reveals a new vista, allowing you to truly experience the unparalleled beauty of Guilin's landscape. Don't miss it when traveling to Guilin; it's definitely worth a visit.

It was fun! Falling is instantaneous, but the coolness lasts a lifetime. The slide down from top to bottom was incredibly smooth. The only downside was that the other side of the slide wasn't open. Adults can use the group-buying voucher, but kids need to buy gloves, rent helmets and turtle protective gear. We bought a package for 228 yuan on-site. I recommend bringing thick socks, leggings, a thick hat, and waterproof gloves. The turtle protective gear is somewhat useful, making it easier to climb back up. The helmet doesn't feel like much. Adults are advised to use the group-buying voucher. After playing, bring an extra set of socks and pants in case they get wet. It's best to bring lotion; after three hours in the cold, you'll be itchy all over.
