The itinerary was fantastic. The local driver and guide were friendly and explained everything clearly. The director even offered to take photos for us. The included lunch was also delicious, with each person receiving a traditional Greek salad and a main dish (choose one from ten options). The scenery was beautiful, and although the travel time was long, it was well worth the trip.

The scenery was absolutely stunning, exceeding my expectations! The itinerary went very smoothly. Although the travel time was quite long, there were restroom breaks and mealtimes along the way. The tour guide provided clear explanations and was very nice. It was a wonderful day trip experience!

The trip was excellent, even with the bad weather (it was drizzling all the time) and the farmers’ strike that blocked some major roads and made our drive longer. Our guide Maria was friendly, knowledgeable and presented info with great sense of humor. Our drivers (two Georges) made sure we were safe and comfortable. We didn’t manage to go into one monastery because we were late to arrive, but the two we went to were magnificent and full of history. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone interested in monastic history and culture and spectacular natural rock views, even in fog and rain.

This was a long, but great tour and experience. We did not want to split Delphi and Meteora over 2-3 days, preferring to find this option to do both in one day. Communication was fantastic with our driver who picked us up promptly at our apartment at 6a and dropped us back off at 8p. He was knowledgeable, friendly and humorous. We were able to stop periodically for pastry and coffee or just a break as needed. The sites we visited really are amazing. Even though it was rainy and misty at Meteora when we visited, it simply added to the mystique and beauty of these structures that seem to levitate high above the surrounding villages and farms. Highly worth it, and much more pleasant when done this way in a private car. Dinner at the end was a perfect way to cap the trip.


