▲ Tower Bridge is one of London's landmark buildings and a symbol of the city. It is a suspension bridge spanning the River Thames and also a bascule bridge. When large ships weighing over 10,000 tons need to pass through, the bridge slowly splits apart and lifts upward. After the ships pass, the bridge gradually lowers to restore vehicle traffic. Tower Bridge consists of four towers connected together, with a total length of about 240 meters across two levels. The bridge foundations feature two towering square main towers, each five stories high, topped with white marble roofs and five small spires that resemble crowns when viewed from afar.

▲ Westminster Abbey, located on the north bank of the Thames in London and adjacent to the Palace of Westminster, is a magnificent Gothic-style royal Catholic cathedral. As a sacred site of Britain, it holds a prominent position among the country's numerous churches.

▲ The British Museum, also known as the British Museum, is one of the largest and most renowned museums in the world. It houses over 7 million artifacts and treasures from around the globe, with a richness in both quantity and variety of collections that is rare among museums worldwide.

▲ Big Ben, also known as the Great Bell, is the large striking clock at the north end of the UK Parliament's clock tower, completed in 1858 on the banks of the Thames River and standing nearly 100 meters tall. Nearly every visitor to the UK comes here for a photo opportunity. The clock tower chimes every fifteen minutes with the classic melodious Westminster chimes, while at the top of each hour it strikes with deeper resonant tones.

▲ The most prominent landmark in Trafalgar Square is the Nelson's Column located on the southern side, flanked by two large flower-shaped fountains on either side, which become even more magnificent when illuminated at night.
