Mainland Chinese residents can enter by swiping their ID cards without ticket redemption. Non-Chinese mainland travelers need to redeem tickets at the counter (passport, Entry-Exit Permit for Hong Kong and Macau, Taiwan Travel Permit for Mainland Residents, or Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents).
