This small group tour to the Forbidden City exceeded my expectations! The "family-sized group" of 2-4 people was very comfortable. The English-speaking guide was professional and patient; ten years of experience on dedicated tours is no joke. From the Meridian Gate to the Treasure Gallery, the explanations covered both historical anecdotes and architectural details, making the 3-hour tour both informative and fulfilling. There were no shopping stops, making it a truly hassle-free experience. The advance notice of the meeting time was also very clear. The only minor drawback was that the Treasure Gallery was only shown from the outside, but the overall pace was excellent, the service was attentive, and even with children, it didn't feel rushed. It's an efficient way to experience the Forbidden City—highly recommended!Trip.com Picks
