Reviews: Ferry Tickets to Batam (One Way/Round Trip) by Batam Fast
Guest User2026-04-01
Fast and easy booking on Trip but the extra surcharges see not reflected in the final price, has to pay $11 extra per pax on tickets collection. Had a bit of glitch during tickets collection, Batam Fast claimed payment was not received from Trip so we had to wait while they call and check. Took about 45mins to resolve payment issue, good thing we were at ticket office 1 hour beforehand. So a word of caution for those who purchase ferry tickets on Trip, go early to collect. Ferry fast and smooth, seats ok, aircon a bit weak in cabin.
Reviews: Round Trip Ferry Tickets to Bintan (Tanah Merah Terminal Departure) - Bintan Resort Ferries

The cabin environment was impeccable—very clean, tidy, and comfortable. However, it's true that some people vomit when the waves are rough, which is quite normal. My travel companion vomited too.
Reviews: Round-trip Ferry Ticket from Singapore to Batam [Majestic Fast Ferry High-Speed Boat]
Guest User2026-04-04
Took the Majestic Fast Ferry for a quick getaway to Batam and overall it was a pretty smooth experience. Departure was on time and the boarding process at the terminal was quite straightforward, though it can get a bit crowded during peak timings. The ferry itself was clean and comfortable enough for the short journey, and the ride took about an hour. Seats were decent, not luxurious but perfectly fine for a short trip. One thing to note — if the sea is slightly choppy, you will feel it, so those prone to seasickness might want to prepare in advance. Return journey was just as smooth, and immigration on both sides was relatively efficient. Overall, it’s a convenient and reliable way to get to Batam. Not fancy, but it gets the job done comfortably for a short weekend escape.

Sentosa is a must-see island for anyone visiting Singapore. Bring a swimsuit. And be sure to visit the fort; it's fascinating.
Reviews: Singapore EZ-Link Card for transport [Pick up at airport]
Guest User2026-04-11
I bought this for my son who doesn't have a credit card. I knew I could buy it cheaper at the MRT counter at Changi Airport, but I had a lot of luggage, wanted to take a Grab ride right away, didn't want the hassle of going down to the underground MRT station, and the counters are often crowded, so I bought it here. It seems that $5 worth of fare was already loaded onto it. There was no line here. You show the barcode to the staff at the counter and they give you the card. EZ-Link cards are surprisingly hard to find, so I recommend getting one at the airport. You can top it up pretty much anywhere.
