The process takes approximately 5 minutes. Traveling around Shikoku by rail is very convenient, as you can ride in the limited express unreserved seating, which is both comfortable and saves a lot of time.
This time, I used the Shikoku Rail Pass to ride the JR Shikoku, Tosa Electric Railway, Koto Electric Railway, and Asa Coast Railway.
Riding in the JR Shikoku limited express unreserved seating is free, and there are usually seats available on most trains. Remember that when riding the JR Shikoku limited express unreserved seating, the conductor will check your ticket. After departure, please be prepared to have your ticket checked and state your destination. Really very convenient, save a lot of time to buy tickets! After redeeming the physical ticket in the green window, you can use it directly. It can even be used for taking the ferry to and from Xiaodou Island. After arriving at Xiaodou Island, you can directly show the physical ticket and take the olive bus for unlimited times. It was excellent trip and guide. Small group with only 3people. We cover most of the places and knowledgeable guide name Dipendra. We really enjoy the tour, the only things is too short for me us :) . We went out at 8am and finish at 4pm. Is really worth of this tours.★

I booked a tour of the Longzi Rice Terraces. They contacted me via WeChat a day before to confirm. The tour itself is by minibus, with a stop for lunch and a restroom. First, they show you the Yao village, where a traditional Chinese concert is held. The concert is not included in the price; it's an optional extra, so you can transfer money to the driver if you wish. Then there's lunch. Lunch itself is not included. You're taken to a rather expensive restaurant. Afterwards, we transfer to the cable car and ascend to the rice terrace, where you can explore it on your own for 1.5 hours. The program is fully implemented, and all the scheduled sites were shown. The only downside is probably the price – this tour is generally cheaper at local agencies. The driver only speaks Chinese, so communication is via translators and WeChat. I should say he even tells you a little about the locations. Be sure to check the weather forecast; the terraces are windy and rainy in winter.★

I took a Hoi An day tour with my guide, Thanh. He even brought a raincoat in case it rained. He provided helpful explanations of every nook and cranny of Hoi An, even showing us photo spots. He even gave me some great tips on the night market. The day tour was a success.
