This Kyoto Day Tour: Arashiyama + Kifune Shrine + Sanzen-in was a fantastic experience overall!
Special thanks to our driver, Li Jie. He was incredibly friendly, communicated well, and provided clear explanations along the way. Within the limited time, he arranged the entire itinerary perfectly, managing the time flawlessly, allowing us to visit several of Kyoto's most worthwhile attractions in one day.
However, I must remind everyone that this tour is more suitable for travelers with some self-reliance. Because you're not with a guide the entire time, you'll need to figure out your own way, keep track of time, and return on time for each meeting. As long as you manage your time well and adhere to the meeting times, the whole trip can be very relaxed.
I personally really liked this approach—someone arranges transportation and the general direction, and once you arrive at the attractions, you have your own time to explore freely.
If it's your first time in Kyoto and you want to visit Arashiyama, Kifune Shrine, and Sanzen-in all at once, I would recommend this Day Tour.
Especially driver Li Jie, he was a huge plus! 👍🇯🇵★

I really enjoyed the kind guidance provided by our guide, Saidoshiko. Thank you for speaking Korean well, taking lots of photos for us, and responding to our KakaoTalk messages right away. Due to the nature of the package tour, time was a bit tight, but considering we had to visit three places in one day, I think that is something to take into account. I will use your services again next time.★

I love this tour of the many cities compacted into 1 day. It was perfect for our family of 5. Our tour guide Valerie, was very knowledgeable about the areas and history of the locations we visited. She also had handy links for places to eat and visited after our trip. We were especially impressed with her helping us with the kimono rental on our tour. She helped us with our kimono outfits and took lovely family photos. She always kept us informed along the trip, so we never got lost. We wished there was more time to explore however we know where to go when we come back to Japan again.★

We really enjoyed the trip! I recommend combining it with a visit to the bamboo forest and monkey park. 👍 We didn't regret it at all; it was a beautiful ride through the canyon along the river. We booked the tour four days in advance, and my daughter and I went together. We booked very good seats, close to each other and by the window with a wonderful view. 👍 Thank you!★

Kyoto by the Sea is absolutely gorgeous. A fantastic day trip! It's much cheaper and more convenient than going on your own. It's a bilingual (Chinese and Korean) tour, with about half the passengers being Chinese and half Korean. Our guide, Gu Wenji, was incredibly helpful and patient. Highly recommended!
