Reviews: Guided Bosphorus Cruise, Pierre Loti Hill, Cable Car, Balat. With All Tickets

It is also great for solo travelers or business people who don't know where to go. Since you travel a lot by car, take boats and cable cars, and visit all the must-see places, I recommend it to those with plenty of time.

The weather wasn't great; it was very cold, and we spent most of the time inside the cabin. There were seats, complimentary tea, and a guided tour. If the weather is good, I recommend taking the afternoon cruise to see both daytime and nighttime views.

The two Turkish tour guides were fluent in English, beautiful, and provided warm and attentive service. A perfect five stars.

The tour and guide were FANTASTIC! Ask for Fatih Ciner, if you can. He was GREAT!! Topkapki Palace is a 'can't miss', with $50 extra ticket! I had no idea they had 15 different things to visit on the inside, including Holy Relics! The Hagia Sofia has been completely redone since I was there in 2017 and is worth the extra $25 it now costs to enter. The lunch from the Vue Bistro was delicious, included. We had rain, but it was still beautiful. The Cruise, also a little chilly, was BEAUTIFUL and had so much food and drink, included! Be ready for an experience!!! I arrived from a Cruise Ship, and messaged about getting the tour at 10am vs. 9am. The Tour company responded that it was fine. So, I purchased. Then, when I was confirming, they told me I had to pay another $140 to get another guide, or cancel, and that they 'couldn't' do 10am. We ended up catching up with the tour AFTER they visited the Blue Mosque, which was a little disappointing since I hadn't seen it before.

We started our trip at 9.00am and ended at around 4.30pm. Our guide, Mr Baki contacted us to confirm the meeting point and time. He also recommended and brought us to a local restaurant for lunch and the food prices were not too high. Some memorable moments include learning about the history and influence of the Romans and Ottomans at the Sultanamet Square, the Blue Mosque, the cable car ride station with a splendid view of the town, and the private boat ride along the Golden Horn. We were brought to places selling Turkish carpets and ornaments in the morning and local snacks in the afternoon. Suitable tour for those seeking such goods. We did not buy any as we wanted to do it later in their shopping mall.

It was amazing! I truly loved the breathtaking view of everything I’ve seen from the Sulemaniye mosque to everything else that Istanbul itself has to offer and I’m glad I captured those photogenic moments 😊
