I discovered this service through Google while searching for the JR pass for Kyushu. It was very quick to apply, and you can pay with tripcorns. I received a confirmation email from JR immediately after applying. To redeem my ticket, I showed the email with the QR code from my phone at the Kagoshima Station ticket counter and received my pass. I also booked my train tickets right away, so everything worked!★

The electronic 3-day pass allows you to choose any 3 days out of 5, whereas the paper pass only allows 3 consecutive days. The electronic version offers more flexibility, and it's very convenient if you have a data SIM card on your phone.
This trip started from Hakata Station and ended directly back at Fukuoka Airport, without backtracking. I used the SUNQPASS Kitakyushu 3-day pass throughout the trip, using it on days 2, 3, and 5. Transportation costs on arrival days were my responsibility, and I booked a day tour on day 4. The pass allows free rides on highway buses, local buses, and designated ferries.
Upon arriving at Fukuoka Airport on day 1, I went to the counter to exchange my reservation for physical tickets. The staff will ask to see the electronic pass I purchased, but it doesn't need to be activated.
When boarding the highway bus, you need both the physical ticket and the activation ticket for that day shown on your mobile phone. For local buses, you go up from the back door to get a numbered ticket. When you get off at your stop, show the driver the activated ticket for that day, and drop the numbered ticket into the bin. The high-speed ferry from Shimabara to Kumamoto also accepts a pass. Show it to the staff at the ticket counter, and they'll give you a handwritten ticket. Just hand it to the staff when boarding.
Our trip covered our costs, but wasn't much cheaper. However, it was so convenient because you don't need to pay with coins when getting on and off; they just count out 10/50/100 yen coins there.

An unforgettable experience in Dar es Salaam with Dove Adventure!
I recently spent three days (January 23rd–25th, 2026) in Dar es Salaam, and the experience was top-notch, thanks to Dove Adventure.
I coordinated everything with Annastancia, who provided excellent service from start to finish. One of the highlights was their recommendation to visit Bagamoyo on the 24th—an extraordinary experience made even better by our guide there, Idrisa Mtoro. His knowledge and passion really brought the history to life.
I also want to give a special mention to Derick Mosa, our driver-guide for the entire three days. He was professional, reliable, and overall excellent.

It was a fantastic experience. The Naples coastline is beautiful, connecting three different cliffside towns. The drive isn't long, allowing ample time to explore. Our tour leaders, Gabriel Casavega and Francesco, were especially great – witty, humorous, and incredibly engaging, keeping the journey filled with laughter. Highly recommend this tour! 🥰★

If you only have one day in Iceland, promise me you'll visit the South Coast. All the major attractions are located there. Remember to bring your own headphones for audio guides. The trip takes about 10 hours, and when you finally see the black sand beach with your own eyes, you'll feel it was all worth it.
