All in all, a fantastic day! Excellent planning – even though it was postponed by a day, it was perfect for the boat trip! The crew (Maria & Co.) are incredibly friendly and provide all the information you need. The route was brilliantly chosen (Lalaria, Dasia Islet, Kastani Beach, etc.), all wonderful spots for swimming and snorkeling. The food was also very good and plentiful. We felt completely at ease. The highlight was the sudden appearance of dolphins on the way to Skopelos – which, of course, made the whole experience unforgettable. This sailing trip is a must if you visit and want to get to know Skiathos. We'd love to do it again! 🤗

It was a fantastic experience! They made us change boats, putting us on a simpler, smaller one (it wasn't the one assigned to us when we bought the tickets online...) but it was worth it. There were fewer people, and we were the first to leave for Lalaria Beach, and we were also the first and only ones there for quite a while on this wonderful beach. We were able to enjoy some time alone and peacefully! It was a wonderful touch, which we are eternally grateful for! After Lalaria Beach, we went to another very beautiful beach, Kastro Beach. Then, we headed towards the peninsula, southeast of Volos, about 68 km away, and stopped in a small coastal village called Katigiorgis, a fishing village with a beautiful beach and tavernas around it, where we ate very well and relaxed for a while. Finally, on the way to Skiathos, we stopped to swim at the small island of Tsougrias, on its beautiful beach. Everything was perfect!

This was a long, but great tour and experience. We did not want to split Delphi and Meteora over 2-3 days, preferring to find this option to do both in one day. Communication was fantastic with our driver who picked us up promptly at our apartment at 6a and dropped us back off at 8p. He was knowledgeable, friendly and humorous. We were able to stop periodically for pastry and coffee or just a break as needed. The sites we visited really are amazing. Even though it was rainy and misty at Meteora when we visited, it simply added to the mystique and beauty of these structures that seem to levitate high above the surrounding villages and farms. Highly worth it, and much more pleasant when done this way in a private car. Dinner at the end was a perfect way to cap the trip.

This was a great tour and Alex was an outstanding driver. We got to choose the order of our stops to best fit what was most important to us. He was very knowledgeable about the sites and gave some great recommendations. Lunch at Vakhos Taverna Delphi was outstanding. So glad we decided to go with the private tour. Highly recommend.


