Liverpool Cathedral is the largest Church of England cathedral in the United Kingdom, also known as the Liverpool Cathedral. It is the fifth-largest cathedral in the world, and its architectural style combines traditional Gothic with a more modern, monumental style. The single-tower design was an innovation at the time; the tower stands 101m tall and houses the third-largest bell in the world. It is worth mentioning that this magnificent and solemn religious building was designed by a 22-year-old. In 1902, 22-year-old Giles Gilbert Scott won the design competition for Liverpool Cathedral. Although it sparked some controversy at the time, Scott's family background—his father and grandfather had both designed and built many churches—ensured his expertise in the Gothic style, preventing the project from being shelved. King Edward VII laid the foundation stone in 1904, and construction began. However, due to the country's economic downturn and the impact of the World Wars, the main body of the cathedral was not officially completed until 1978, 76 years later, with Queen Elizabeth II attending the completion ceremony. Sadly, Scott passed away in 1960 and did not live to see his work completed. However, Scott did not just leave behind this beautiful cathedral; London's iconic red telephone box was also his creation. To this day, Liverpool Cathedral remains an outstanding example of church architecture, attracting many visitors every year. The magnificent stained glass windows inside depict stories from the Bible, and it also houses the world's largest and heaviest pipe organ, with a total of 9,765 pipes. On a clear day, you can climb the Albert Memorial Clock to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

The bar is located on Mathew St. Mathew St is not long, only about 200m, but it is lined with bars of all sizes. Besides The Cavern Club, there are many other pubs that The Beatles members frequented. At 10 Mathew St, walk down 18 steps, and you'll be surrounded by The Beatles' memorabilia. The bar has remained largely unchanged, maintaining a vintage feel, and it preserves many items the band used, such as sheet music and performance photos. Outside the bar on the street, there is a sign that reads "Four lads that shocked the world," which is a bit bittersweet, lamenting that Lennon is gone. We can only remember and look back, but can no longer hear their passionate, authentic legend come to life again.

This is a pilgrimage, as a Liverpool fan. No matter how this journey is perceived by others, it is a perfect one in my heart. Especially when I passed through the player tunnel and saw the sign of Anfield, my heart was filled with emotion. When I stood on the stadium and closed my eyes, I could imagine the bustling crowds here on match days.

If you are a Beatles fan the museum is a must . The museum is interactive and has a media guided audio tour that is interesting. I learned a lot.

There were many photos I'd never seen before and items actually used by the band members, making it a truly impressive exhibition. You can really get a feel for what it was like back then. It was filled with respect not only for John, Paul, George, and Ringo, but also for former members Stuart and Pete, and for other people from Liverpool who have achieved success in various fields. I hope the museum's exhibits will be preserved for a long time to come and be seen by many people.

Great place and free! Lots to see and do here, lots of exhibits and a great Egyptian section. Cafe, gift shop, lifts. A great morning out.

This church looks ordinary from the outside, but you will be amazed once you enter. It feels very beautiful as soon as you enter. It is super big inside. It is recommended to come here on Sundays. There will be a choir every Sunday. You can pray with the locals and feel the atmosphere.

It's so popular that you have to queue up for 5 pounds per person. It's also crowded inside, but the atmosphere is very exciting. You must check in here when you come to Liverpool to experience the rock culture of the Beatles' hometown. It's worth the trip!
