The Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime is a cultural tourism landmark in Changchun that combines the dual attributes of "museum + attraction". It is currently a national first-class museum, a key cultural relics protection unit, one of the first batch of national AAAAA tourist attractions, a national patriotic education demonstration base, a national research and practice education base for primary and secondary schools, one of China's "most innovative museums", and an influential project unit of the International Council on Monuments and Sites. The Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime is located at No. 5 Guangfu North Road, Kuancheng District, Changchun, Jilin Province. It was originally the Changchun salt warehouse in the late Qing Dynasty and later served as the official office of the Jilin-Heilongjiang Salt Tax Bureau during the early Republic of China. From 1932 to 1945, it was the imperial residence of Puyi, the puppet emperor of the Manchurian regime. In 1962, it became the Exhibition Hall of Imperialist Aggression in Northeast China and later the Exhibition Hall of the Manchurian Regime Palace. In 2000, it was officially renamed the Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime, becoming an important site for patriotic education. In recent years, the Palace Museum of The Manchurian Regime has embraced the vision of "becoming a pioneer in innovative operations among China's museums and attractions." Through its development strategy focusing on academic excellence, creative revitalization, innovation-driven growth, and open sharing, it has achieved leapfrog progress in various operations and overall enhancement in museum management. The museum integrates six functional areas: the imperial core zone, the exhibition hall of northeast China's occupation history, the museum eye art palace, the M+ creative block, the interactive experience zone, and the administrative area. The palace museum of the Manchurian regime currently has 39 original displays of the Manchurian court including the Jixi building, Qinmin building, and Tongde hall, along with 4 large-scale permanent exhibitions and 12 thematic exhibitions. It has saved over 73,000 art pieces, including a large collection of Manchurian court relics, Japanese modern artifacts, northeastern China modern artifacts, folk relics, representative modern paintings and calligraphy, sculptures, and works by intangible cultural heritage inheritors.China · Changchun

Benxi Water Cave is located in Benxi City, Liaoning Province. It is a large water-filled cave formed hundreds of thousands of years ago. It is the longest underground river in the world that can be visited by boat. The entire Attraction is composed of water caves, geological Attraction, Tiesha Mountain and Miaohou Mountain, which are distributed in a belt along the Taizi River. Tourists come here mainly to visit the water caves and museums. The water cave is divided into two caves, the water cave and the dry cave, with many stalactites of various shapes. You need to go boating to visit the water cave. The entrance of Benxi Water Cave faces south and north, and the entrance is half-moon-shaped. Above the entrance is written the four big characters "Benxi Water Cave". Entering the entrance is the "reception hall", which is very large and can accommodate thousands of people. From the hall to the right is a 300-meter-long dry cave, which is staggered and has caves in the cave. On the top and rock walls of the cave, you can see many stalactites of various shapes, such as ancient wells, dragon pools, and Baibu Pools. At the end of the dry cave is a clear pool, which is bottomless and the water vapor coming up is very cold. After exiting the cave and returning to the lobby, there is a pier leading to the water cave in front of the lobby. The water surface here is very large and can accommodate 40 cruise ships. Under the illumination of the Souvenir lights, it is like a quiet and unique harbor. Tourists walk down the steps from the revetment stone, get on the boat from the pier through the corridor, and start to swim in the water cave. There are many scenes formed by stalactites of various shapes in the whole water cave. Along the way, you can see stalactites such as Baolian Lantern, Yitian Long Sword, Crocodile Head, Corn Tower, One-horned Rhino, Spring Bamboo Shoots, Leaning Tower, Elephant, Snow Mountain, etc. on both sides of the river. In particular, the three scenes of Corn Tower, Jade Elephant and Snow Mountain are in line with their names and are almost real. In addition to the stalactites on both sides of the river, the stalagmites are picturesque and in various shapes, there are also stalactites hanging high on the top of the cave, which are very crystal and colorful, full of fun. The whole journey takes about 20 minutes. After visiting the water cave, you can visit the nearby Benxi Geological Museum, where you can learn about the main geological changes from the birth of the earth to the present. The museum also displays many precious samples of geological relics and prehistoric relics in the scenic Attraction, which are of great viewing value. There is only one restaurant in the Dining Attraction- Shuidong Juxianlou Hotel. Dining here is expensive, so it is recommended that tourists bring their own food.China · Benxi County

Overall, it's pretty good. Once you get there, you can rent a car. I didn't know how to drive at first, but with my years of driving experience, I learned quickly. This saves energy. You can download an app, locate yourself, and check out the attractions and waiting times. Boys might like the Dinosaur Extinction attraction, as well as some thrilling rides. Some attractions require separate fees, such as the Ice and Snow World and the Petting Zoo!

The entire scenic area is quite large. It's recommended to allow 2 hours for the Imperial Palace Museum, and the outer area also includes the Northeast Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall and the M+ Park. Therefore, it's advisable to allow at least 3 hours for the entire scenic area.

The scenic area was fantastic! I explored two different routes. The shuttle bus service was excellent and very convenient; it's free after you buy your ticket. The tour guides were also very responsible, reminding me of weather changes and recommended tour times. Thumbs up! I would definitely recommend the shuttle bus service to other friends.

Although many say China's Snow Town is becoming too touristy & expensive (compared to Snow Valley), I think it is still worth visiting. There are lots of ACTIVITIES to do all within walking distance. Reindeer rides, feeding, skiing, photo op including the hot water vapor video etc. One down side is that there was no signage to designated bus to/from Yabuli station (no waiting area either). It is also difficult to find restaurants for people with dietary restrictions (eg. Vegetarian, halal etc).

We took our kids back to China for summer vacation and had our first experience at a Northeastern Chinese bathhouse. We absolutely loved all the facilities and services. Children under 1.4 meters tall get in for free, making it incredibly good value for money. If we have the chance, we'll definitely bring our family and friends to experience this top-tier bathhouse in China!

This place has a strong sense of history, attracting many middle-aged and elderly visitors who are nostalgic. The exhibits include film introductions from various eras, primarily using pictures, text, and video materials. It would be great if more filming locations could be added.

Arrive early to avoid peak hours and opt for a guided tour at the ticket gate inside the cave. This will save you time queuing for the boat tour, and the guide will explain everything as you see it. It's definitely worth a visit.

Zhongjie Street is quite long with many side streets, lined with shops and restaurants, and bustling with pedestrians. It seems well worth a visit and is a landmark pedestrian street in Shenyang. It's convenient to get anywhere from Zhongjie Street, but during my few days in Shenyang, I only spent a relatively short time shopping there. I mainly explored other areas outside of Zhongjie Street. It was a bit of a regret that I treated Zhongjie Street primarily as a transportation hub. Next time I visit Shenyang, I'll definitely explore it more. If I hadn't been in a rush, I could have spent more time there. I mainly visited the Forbidden City, Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence, and the Dadong Food Market on Zhongjie Street.
