The best option for visiting Mount Koya is a small day tour. Public transportation to Mount Koya involves many transfers and takes a long time, so this small group tour was very comfortable! There were 5 of us on this trip, and our guide, Hanazawa, spoke Chinese, Japanese, and English, so communication was seamless throughout the tour. Hanazawa introduced us to various natural, historical, and cultural aspects of Mount Koya and even took us to sample local cuisine! Mount Koya is definitely worth a visit—a tranquil journey not to be missed.★

💯 recommended !! Our Kumano Kodo trip today was absolutely incredible! The places we visited were breathtaking, and although we had to keep everything moving because of our limited time, Mr. Hanazawa, our guide, made the whole experience possible.
In such a short amount of time, we were able to visit Kumano Hongu Taisha, Kumano Sanzan, Kumano Nachi Taisha, and Kumano Hayatama Taisha. It was definitely a packed day, but every place was worth seeing.★
