Reviews: Barcelona: Montserrat Tour, Transfers & Basilica Entry

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the tour but also gave history and context so we could appreciate the events and challenges the monetary inhabitants had to endure. We want to learn more when we get home! Truly inspiring. Thank you!

The all day trip was worth it. "Nu" was extremely pleasant and informative guide. The bus was very comfortable. Her tour of the small Catalunya town was very informative. We had a cappuccino w/ a shot of rum/whiskey there for 4Euros each (at 830 am, LOL). At one point she left anyone that was in line for the bathroom to lead the tour around the small French town, which was disappointing to be left behind. Andorra is basically a big shopping mall in a deep valley of the Pyrenes, but still interesting to visit 'another country'. FYI: The Euro buses don't have bathrooms.

Ladies Delph and Martina were particularly nice, we hope that the next guides at the other planned activities will be just as informative and fun.

Reviews: From Barcelona: Half-Day Montserrat Small Group Guided Tour

A must-see. The meeting point is in front of the train station entrance (that's a complicated spelling). Francesco guided us well for 5.5 hours and told us interesting things.

Reviews: Barcelona: Montserrat Monastery and Natural Park Guided Tour
Guest User2026-10-24
Alan was amazing, we were the only one that day so it was like a private tour with Alan. He is not only knowledgeable about the Montserrat monastery and the Black Madonna, he was also well read about the surrounding mountains and its history. Alan was super engaging and he was sweet enough to not only keep us informed about everything on the tour he also kept our 5 year old engaged with her stories and stopping and going an extra mile to spot goats for her. I highly recommend this tour.

We lucked out with only the two of us, so it was a totally private tour. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She knew the exact time the boys’ choir would be singing which we greatly enjoyed.
