Reviews: 1-day tour to Pamukkale and Hierapolis in Türkiye (including lunch)
Guest User2026-08-06
I really enjoyed the tour. Special thanks to our guide, Osman, and our driver, Mustafa. My girlfriend and I were contacted separately to confirm the meeting point and time. A separate WhatsApp group was even created just for us (for each group, I believe). So, the preparation was beyond reproach. During the drive, Osman gave a fascinating account of the city's history and briefly touched on the region's history. Once inside, he simply pointed out the city's key features and showed us the main sites and directions to them, after which we were left to our own devices for three hours. While this isn't enough time to explore all the ruins, it was incredibly hot, and the drive from Antalya took a long time. The only thing that could be improved is the availability of drinking water. In a hot and arid region, this isn't a luxury, but a physiological necessity. We need to be able to buy water at a reasonable price, not charge tourists through the nose.
