I've been to Japan almost 20 times, and I realized I've never been to Mount Fuji. This time I had more time, so I dedicated a day to it. Summer isn't the best season for Mount Fuji, and it's crowded during summer vacation. Therefore, I arranged a day to hire a car to preview the nearby attractions, and if there are any I like, I'll focus on them next time. Lake Kawaguchi is beautiful; I'd love to come back. Mount Fuji covered in snow in winter must be stunning. My child doesn't like hot springs, so we didn't go to Hakone. Instead, we went shopping at an outlet mall, but it was incredibly crowded on the weekend. The driver and I are from the same hometown, and we chatted happily about our hometowns the whole way. I highly recommend hiring a car. It saves time, at least a whole day for visiting these attractions. The transportation costs for four people plus one night's accommodation are less expensive than hiring a car; you don't have to rush around, and you won't be tired after a long day.

It was great. The driver was punctual, helpful, friendly, patient and easy to communicate with. We had a good time in Nara and he also stopped by a few places for us since my son really wanted to get a new Nintendo, and with his help, we found the console that my son really wanted. Driver Mr Richard also gave advice as to where to eat, shop, and visit. We had a wonderful time.

We had such a wonderful day visiting Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge, enjoying ******* yak hotpot, and exploring Songzanlin Monastery and Dukezong Ancient Town. It was a lovely combination of beautiful scenery, ******* culture, local food, and time spent together. We are very grateful to everyone who helped make the experience so enjoyable and comfortable.
