Most of the day trips were booked through Ctrip, and we had a great time. Parasailing was fun, not as scary as I imagined. We also rented a camera to shoot videos. The service was good, there was no forced spending, and everything was flexible. I was very satisfied.★

A day trip to Manukan and Sapi islands in Kota Kinabalu is a great option. The speedboat ride is short, only about ten minutes, and seasickness is unlikely.
Sapi Island boasts crystal-clear waters with abundant fish right on the shore. You can snorkel and feed the fish while wading through the water. The underwater coral is beautiful, but the island is small and gets crowded during peak season. Manukan Island is larger, with more shade, restaurants, and a full range of water sports, making it perfect for relaxing on the beach. Combining both islands offers a good balance of snorkeling and relaxation, with a relaxed pace.
Reminder: Be sure to bring sunscreen. Water and snacks are expensive on the islands, so it's recommended to bring your own. Visibility can decrease when the waves are high.
This trip was recommended by Xia Ya, who provided many useful local tips and made a very reliable plan. This combination is perfect for a relaxing island-hopping trip in Kota Kinabalu.
Remember to bring your phone for the activities! The locals are great at taking pictures. I was so disappointed when I didn't bring mine!★
