The trip and the tour guide quite nice, but for the information detail for meeting up before the pick up, unfortunately so bad 😭 i was waiting for 40mnt before the time up, the travel agent number doesn’t want to pick up the phone and respons my text, im out of nowhere, which group, which bus/car, the agent only give us attention the last minute in early morning 03.25 it means how can we stay awake that time to ask for the detail? This experience makes me think 2 times before i book the travel agent for the next, i hope it Please pay attention to matters like this in the future.

Reviews: Gudauri, Kazbegi, Zhinvali, Ananuri, Stepantsminda From Tbilisi

I really enjoyed the trip. Our guide, Georgiy, gave fascinating insights into all the places, and we visited monasteries and beautiful natural sites. The Gergeti Church in the mountains was especially inspiring; the views were magnificent! And Anauri, near the Zhinvali Reservoir. Georgiy sang songs in Georgian beautifully and led the tour in both Russian and English. The only downside was the service at the café we stopped at towards the end of the tour. Everyone was very hungry, but even that didn't save us, as the food itself was average, more expensive than in Tbilisi. They forgot to bring me part of my order, which is simply beyond words. However, this doesn't necessarily apply to the guide or the route, so I'm very pleased.

Reviews: Kazbegi-Ananuri-Gudauri Legendary landscapes, history(Group Tour)

A perfectly planned tour! Our guide, David, was very energetic and enthusiastic, and explained everything perfectly! We visited many beautiful historical sites in one day. We especially appreciated the flexibility of the tour; the guide slightly changed the order of the sights to avoid traffic jams and crowds of other tourists.

We went north up to the mountains. Kazbegi is a very popular place with locals when they want to excape the summer heat. The drive was very scenic and didn't seem to be that long. I see other reviews complain about the drive but the roads are good and you pass a variety of mountain valleys and green hills, it was a very nice ride. Lika was my guide and did a great job of explaining everything. She also had a lot of local insights into the area and was good company. This is a great day trip out of Tbilisi and well worth investing a day from your intinerary to see this part of the country.
