Reviews: Kyoto's ancient charm: A day trip to Fushimi Inari Shrine and Nara to feed the deer, with optional small group tours including hotel pick-up and drop-off.

It was Friday, October 26/23, with Guide Oh Seok-bong's team. I had seen him mentioned quite a bit in reviews... and as expected, he made the whole trip fun and enjoyable with his cheerful wit and sense of humor. Fortunately, we had a weather fairy with bright sunshine, so the photos turned out beautifully. I followed his tips for each place—"Don't eat this" and "Make sure to stay far from this"—and wow, every choice was top-notch! If anyone is planning an Osaka-Kyoto trip, I definitely want to recommend this tour.★

Reviews: A day trip of Culture Experience to Kyoto's ancient architecture, Nara Park with adorable deer, and Fushimi Inari Shrine.
Guest User2026-10-20
We took our kids to Japan for summer vacation. There were so many places we wanted to visit, but transportation was a hassle, and without a guide, we didn't understand anything. We'd never done a day trip with a tour group before, so we decided to give it a try, and it was truly a five-star experience! This package was really good and affordable (I never expected it to be so cheap and so good). The guide, a Chinese resident with permanent residency in Japan, was incredibly welcoming. The bus was comfortable the whole way, and he shared a lot about the local customs and culture he'd experienced in Japan over the years. We were very grateful to our guide, Wu Shifeng, who was excellent and professional, with no hidden costs! The day trip to Kyoto's classic sights was perfectly paced! Highly recommended! Everyone should check it off their list!★

Reviews: Kyoto and Nara Day Tour │ Kiyomizu-dera Temple + Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine + Nara Park
Guest User2026-09-23
The entire itinerary was well-planned, with each segment lasting about an hour, making it very comfortable. The vehicle was in good condition, and the driver/guide were excellent service personnel—polite, courteous, and of high quality. Even at the end of the tour, they never asked for a positive review. Todai-ji Temple in Nara was truly breathtaking; its all-wood structure, unpainted, exudes a strong sense of historical gravitas and is well worth a visit. Fushimi Inari Shrine was just average. Time was a bit tight at the final attractions, such as Gion, but given it was a day trip, it's impossible to see everything. It would have been perfect if the driver/guide had provided brief introductions to each attraction beforehand.★

Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Kyoto Fushimi Inari Taisha + Arashiyama + Kinkaku-ji + Nara Park 1-day Tour
Guest User2026-10-04
Excellent deal for one full day tour covered Nara and Kyoto. Tour guide 美奈子 speaks English, Chinese, and Japanese fluently. She was detailed to explain all attractions we are going to visit, and gave us tips for what to see and what to do. She walked with us to make sure we didn't miss popular spots. I would like to recommend 美奈子 to everyone. The tour bus is a little bit tight between seats unlike other tour buses have well spaced leg room.★

Reviews: Optional small group for 9 people · 1-day tour to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara | Hotel pick-up service available + departure from Osaka/Kyoto
Guest User2026-04-20
Traveling with the whole family, the biggest fear is an overly tiring itinerary or some mishaps. Choosing this small group tour was definitely the wisest decision. First, I want to thank the customer service representative. From before booking to the day before departure, she repeatedly confirmed with me whether the elderly could move around easily, whether they needed a baby seat, and whether there was an accessible ramp at the meeting point. This meticulous attention to detail made me feel very reassured even before we set off. On the day of the tour, the driver was incredibly attentive—knowing my mother's knees weren't good, he specially parked the car at the drop-off point closest to the attractions; seeing my father's interest in temples, he allowed extra time at Todai-ji Temple. The entire itinerary was paced exceptionally well; the elderly didn't feel tired, the children didn't want to leave, and my husband and I were even able to take some photos and enjoy some time alone. This kind of trip that satisfied the whole family is truly rare. I'll definitely use this tour again next time I'm in Kyoto!★

Reviews: Osaka departure Nara Park + Uji 1-day tour, feed adorable deer, taste matcha
Guest User2026-08-29
The time balance is a bit off: it would be better to spend more time in Nara Park and a little less time in Uji. A 60/40 split would be ideal. Overall, I'd give it a 9.5/10.
