We really enjoyed this trip to Kutna Hora. It is about 1 hour away from Prague. It is a beautiful working town. Was once an important silver mining town. Many beautiful churches. The Ossuary is extraordinary. We cannot take pictures out of respect for the dead but this is not a place to be missed. Because of so many dead bodies over the centuries, they decided to use these bones to make it into an impressive display of art. A macabre yet beautiful place. Our guide Peter was fabulous. The car was very comfortable and he taught us so many things about this area, and history of Czech Republic.

Reviews: From Prague: Kutna Hora UNESCO Site Tour with Bone Chapel

We picked this tour because of the train journey. Local trains & buses are much better than tourist coaches. Brendan was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable and funny. Made sure no one got lost. Great choice of restaurant for lunch. Food excellent. St Barbara's church is lovely. Stunning views. The bone chapel is "different". Not really my thing. But, worth seeing once. Be careful if using google maps. It took us above ground instead of to the lower main train station entrance. Caused a bit of panic. But, Brendan was there on the phone to help

This tour is absolutely worth it. The Price-Performance ratio surprised me in a very positive way and the guide is really nice and has a lot of knowledge about the Churches and Kutná Hora. I would definitely do it again

Reviews: From Prague to Kutna hora - GUIDED TOUR TO KUTNA HORA
Guest User2026-10-19
I definitely recommend this trip! Good organization, well-organized route, our guide (unfortunately I don't remember her name, it was a lady), spoke clearly and kept us well informed throughout. The pace was a bit slow for me, but that's better than rushing. And Kutna Hora is beautiful!

Lucy was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and patient. Got to know us by asking by where we were from. Terrific tour.
