Reviews: Luxembourg: Nature, History and Castles Full-Day Tour
Guest User2026-10-12
The driver was excellent, kind & nice despite having to manage a varied group. Patrick is beyond excellent with his fabulous humor...everyone is entitled to his dreams & wishes. The Viendan castle was easy to explore after watching the short video. There was lots of people jammed packedin the town due to a Sunday fair, making it very challenging to pass through with road blocks at certian places. We lost our way back to the meeting and was unfortunately late, spoiling an otherwise wonderful day.

Reviews: Interrail Benelux train pass (with European SIM card/flexible pass/explore the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg)
Guest User2025-07-17
I booked a flight from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Paris, and out of Paris. Since I was going to be there anyway, I wanted to visit some of the surrounding countries, so I bought a 4-day Benelux Pass. The route I actually used was like this: ① Schiphol Airport → The Hague → Delft → Rotterdam → Amsterdam ② Amsterdam → Bruges ③ Bruges → Luxembourg → Brussels ④ Brussels → Antwerp → Brussels It's a 4-day pass, but it doesn't have to be 4 consecutive days, so I highly recommend it to anyone going to the Netherlands, Belgium, or Luxembourg! 🇳🇱🇧🇪🇱🇺 It's easy to use; you just show the QR code to the conductor when they come around and scan it at the ticket gate. When using it, it's a good idea to download the Rail Planner app.

This was a good way to get out of the city and explore more of Luxembourg. The nature walk was lovely, Patrick was fab and I was sad he was with us for such a short time. The two castles were nice to explore and impressive in their own way. What was a real bonus was being in Vianden for the annual walnut festival! We’d known this before going and therefore whizzed round the castle, to spend most of our time soaking up the atmosphere (and the nut liquor!) in the town. We think it’s a shame that the driver didn’t know this event was happening and therefore didnt alert other guests to what was happening-the nut festival was even mentioned on the audio guide so this feels like a real miss. We could had done without the final stop-maybe it was because it was a Sunday but there was very little to do apart from sit and have a drink. We’d have much rather spent longer in Vianden, but I appreciate the festival only happens once a year.
