Reviews: Caprera: hiking to Cala Coticcio with aperitif
Guest User2026-10-04
This hike was one of the best activities we did in Sardinia. Manuele was a very friendly guide who explained a lot about Sardinian culture and life as a local. We did the hike on a sunny September day which was picturesque but also very hot, especially on the (uphill) way back. Parts of the trail could be challenging but if you are physically fit and have enough sun protection it is doable and sooo worth the effort to experience this little piece of paradise on Earth! The aperitif Manuele prepared after the hike was also delicious and it was great to get to know the other group participants in such a relaxed atmosphere.

The tuk tuk was fun. It took a few minutes to find it as the map provided byGYG was off a couple of hundred of meters. You don’t get a guide you get a driver and a recording. This works great as you can hear the program well. You could ask the driver questions but the recording was so good we only had one question. The driver was amazing, at first driving on the highway was scary but her skills put us at ease quickly. It was a fun way to learn more about this beautiful island’s culture.

Not too much involvement in the tour from the tuk-tuk driver. Short and basic information on the way, on the loud-speaker. Too expensive for what you get!
