Reviews: Krakow to Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ghetto Visit
Guest User2026-10-17
The trip lasted approximately 9 hours. It started at 11:30 AM. First, there was a two-hour walking tour of the Krakow Ghetto. This was followed by a 30-minute lunch break at leisure. Afterwards, there was a two-hour bus transfer to Auschwitz. The time allotted for visiting the concentration camp is relatively short considering the size of the site, and it's advisable to explore it quickly on your own. There are no guided tours. At 6:30 PM, we returned to Krakow by bus. Overall, it was a very interesting and informative trip.

Dominic was a fabulous guide. We learned a lot and loved the combination of his stories and the recorded information.

Humorous guide who made the walking tour less arduous. The mine has been "polished up" and looked nothing like the appalling conditions of the past as you would imagine. In fact, it is well-renovated to accommodate the needs of tourists such as the even flooring and stair guide rails for support. Worth going to see how life was like for the miners and the salt mine history.
