Our guide Vanessa transformed our experience with not only local tastes and smells, but took us back in time and painted a better understanding of how life was experienced by Venecians, but most importantly, how the Jewish community lived. Her love and passion for history is transformed into a colourful painting and creates a mindful reality of the past. I would suggest an empty stomach on arrival, as we consume various dishes right up to the end of the tour. The only mistake made, was doing the tour on the first day, as I now see Venice in a very different way. Venice, you are a true beauty who has stood the test of time. ★
