The trip was awesome and our guide was very professional. They do not recommend this to the people with fear of heights and I do agree with them. The PR3 is nice walk but Pico de Areiro is not for the people with the fear of heights. If you enjoy good views and semi-challenging hikes this is for you!★

We had a fantastic experience all around. We departed on time, saw turtles, dolphins, and whales, and were out for three hours as planned. The guide also shared some information about the animals. Drinks were available on board. On the return trip, the waves were a bit rougher, and a few guests got wet (that's the risk of sitting at the front of a catamaran) – but beach towels and paper towels for wet cameras were provided. We would definitely recommend this experience!★

Everything was well organized. We enjoyed the trip to the island. On our way we have seen whales and dolphins, that was definitely our highlight. The crew members are super kind, we enjoyed everything. The island, the clear water was perfect. We have done our trip on 11.10. I can recommend to have warm clothes since the wind is quite cold. On the island it was much warmer so do not forget to take your swimming suits and sun creams. Also to consider to take your swimming shoes with you. Going out of the little boat was a bit difficult since the stones are slippy. Everything was worth it, I will book it again when I am back in Madeira ;-)
