We booked the 4‑day/3‑night Nile River cruise through Trip.com, and our local agent was Fayrouz Egypt Travel Company, with Ahmed as our tour operator. He was excellent—communication was smooth, responses were always prompt, and he checked in with us at the end of each day to make sure everything was going well. We truly appreciated that level of care. The tour price included the river cruise as well as guided visits to all the “must‑see” cultural and historical sites in Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor. We were especially delighted that the tour also included Abu Simbel Temples and a hot‑air balloon ride in Luxor. All pick‑ups and drop‑offs were smooth and clearly communicated. The local guides were very good—especially Ahmed Eltayeb in Luxor and Ahmed Awad in Aswan. Both were very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Our drivers, Mohamed (Luxor) and Said (Aswan), drove carefully and smoothly, and we felt very safe with them throughout the trip.

They contacted me quickly the day before, confirmed the pickup time, and were very friendly. It was great. However, if you choose the right location for the hot air balloon ride, you can take great pictures. I failed at choosing the right location^^;;

The temple was worth the drive from the city. Our guide, Khaled, informed us of its rich history and allowed us to explore on our own after our history lesson.

Our guide was fantastic and taught us so much about the history of Dendera temple of Hathor and we now feel we are experts in hieroglyphics. He knew every inch of the temple he was an expert in his field The driver was also first class. We really enjoyed the lunch and the felucca back to our hotel was very relaxing and the icing on the cake. The captain was also really friendly and made our sail even more enjoyable.
