Reviews: Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace Day Trip from Munich
Guest User2026-02-11
Everything was perfect. The bus was very comfortable, the driver impeccable, and the guide was also very attentive and her narration engaging. The excursion to the castles was like something out of a fairytale: the entire landscape was covered in snow, and the castle visits were beautiful. It's a shame that photography wasn't allowed, but everything was stunning. I highly recommend it.

Everything was wonderful at Linderhof and Neuschwanstein castle! Our guide Dimitri was knowledgeable and very informative with many helpful tips. We decide to take a steep hike to Mary’s viewing bridge and the views were amazing! Highly recommend tour with Gray Line. 😇👍

Reviews: Neuschwanstein Castle Skip-the-Line Ticket with Audio Guide

It's a lovely walk, but keep in mind that it's a snowy place. You should enjoy the journey and the surroundings, since you're only inside the castle for 30 minutes, you can't take photos, and you only see a small part of it. The ticket is expensive for that half hour, and the audio guide isn't very comprehensive; it doesn't tell you much about the King's life.

It was an absolute pleasure to spend our day with Marco. He was an excellent and very gracious host, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning the history whilst also taking in the beautiful nature around us. Marco was kind and very willing to answer any questions, as well as help with any photos! Would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to take the scenic route up to the castle. There is alot more to be explored than just the castle itself, learning why King Ludwig chose this area to build (and you'll understand why!). You also get to see Swan Lake!
