We visited the Summer Imperial Palace together in early March 2026; there weren't many people there in the morning.
Our Russian-speaking guide, Andrey, met us at the entrance. We quickly got used to his conversation. Andrey provided engaging and accessible information.
He answered all our questions, even personal ones. The grounds are very large, beautiful, and well-maintained, with palaces, temples, ponds, and bridges—the pinnacle of Chinese art. We highly recommend everyone visit this UNESCO World Heritage site!★

I enjoyed the tour. The bus was comfortable, large, and clean. The guide was cheerful. Unfortunately, due to traffic, we were behind schedule and didn't have time to visit the old summer palace, and it was already dark when we arrived at the summer palace. But that didn't ruin the day. I had a fulfilling and enjoyable trip, and I must commend our tour guide, Ding Feipeng. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and responsible. Most importantly, his cultural knowledge was exceptional; he could effortlessly rattle off various poems and historical anecdotes. I was particularly impressed by his knowledge of the murals in the Long Corridor of the Summer Palace. Having such a good tour guide, especially when visiting cultural sites, is incredibly fortunate. When we came to Beijing for tourism, we booked a day tour so that we could take the kids to do more things. We met our tour guide, Liu Yanfang. She was very patient and kind, and her photography skills were top-notch. She took beautiful and great photos of the kids. She was fantastic!
