I booked a card on Trip.com and printed out the reservation form, which stated I could exchange it for a card at the airport. Since I arrived late and took a taxi instead of the metro, I was worried the next day that I might have problems at other metro stations (indicated on the voucher). I used my bank card to travel to the station where I could exchange the voucher, stood in line at the ticket office (kiosk), and got my card without any problems. Since I travel a lot, it made my life a lot easier. The main thing to remember is to activate the card at the beginning of the day.

Reviews: [Limited time 20% off] 3-Hour Changi Lounge Access at Singapore Changi Airport

Stopover on Christmas Day; the reception staff were very friendly and attentive to every request. The seasonal Lychee beer is highly recommended.
Bought their cny goodies @ $15.80 each, a little pricey if w/o the extra 20% discount on trip.com.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
