Blue sea, azure sky, white waves, and golden sand... The beautiful Happy Beach is located in Weifang Binhai Economic Development Zone, recognized as a provincial-level tourist resort and a national 4A-level attraction. Happy Beach features a gentle, wide shoreline with picturesque scenery, calm waves, clear water, and fine, soft sand. The beach stretches 1.6 km from east to west and 300 meters from north to south, forming a stunning 10,000-meter coastal scenic line.
The "Eye of Bohai" Ferris wheel, located in the Binhai Technology Development Zone of Weifang City, Shandong Province, has been certified by Guinness World Records as the world's tallest axle-less Ferris wheel. The structure consists of an outer support truss frame built with 4,600 tons of steel beams over two years. Unlike traditional Ferris wheels with central axles, the Eye of Bohai operates without any central support - its wheel rim remains stationary while 36 suspended observation cabins (each accommodating 10 passengers) move along tracks via self-propelled mechanisms. A full rotation takes 30 minutes, allowing visitors to enjoy panoramic views of the Bailang River when reaching the maximum height of 145 meters.
The Happy Sea Beach water area is divided into a water recreation zone, swimming zone, and beach leisure zone. Visitors can enjoy the ocean with family and friends, admire the sea views, and spend a joyful and relaxing holiday together. The water recreation zone features facilities such as luxury business yachts, large yachts, deluxe small sightseeing boats, water tricycles, water bicycles, speedboats, and water seesaws. The swimming zone allows visitors to enter the water and experience the sea firsthand, with professional lifeguards ensuring safety. The beach leisure zone offers various tents, sun umbrellas, beach chairs, four-corner tents, beach huts with matching tables and chairs, as well as over 20 carnival games for visitors to enjoy.
The Malaysia Pavilion, adjacent to the beach, is a 1:1 replica of the Shanghai World Expo Malaysia Pavilion. Inside, it features exhibition halls with Malaysian-style decor and a souvenir sales hall, allowing visitors to experience authentic Malaysian exoticism without leaving the country. The first floor houses the Malaysia Exhibition Hall, souvenir sales hall, and a 6D cinema that immerses visitors in an adventurous ocean journey. The second floor features a marine science exhibition area and a calligraphy and painting art zone, offering visitors a great place to appreciate art, explore marine science knowledge, and learn about ocean culture. Outside the Malaysia Pavilion, the Kite Surfing Performance Square is surrounded by convenient amenities like electric sightseeing shuttles, three-person bicycles, and quadricycles, making it easy for visitors to explore the attraction and enjoy a wonderful holiday together!
