Surprisingly, only three people signed up, including myself. The driver was very friendly, and the vehicle was very comfortable. For the part of the Volcano Sovereignty area, the driver will drop you off at the parking lot and give you two hours to return. Climbing up is tiring but well worth it. We were very lucky that the weather was great on the day of departure, offering unobstructed views. After the climb, there's a stop at a souvenir shop. Tired and hungry after the climb, you might buy some alcohol or food. The shop staff are very enthusiastic, offering tons of samples. Afterwards, we headed to Pompeii. We ate at a restaurant across the street (a basic pizza and a drink). After a satisfying meal, we set off. There was a Chinese audio guide and a map. Again, you have to return to the entrance within the allotted time. It takes about two hours to explore. The audio guide didn't match the door numbers, which was confusing. Pompeii is very large, and it's easy to get lost alone. Time really isn't enough. It's advisable to do your research beforehand so you don't get lost and can head straight to your destination. I thought the itinerary was quite good, including the volcano, Pompeii, and lunch. It's very convenient for solo travelers without needing to do any research, and the price was acceptable. Reminder: Make sure your water bottle is full before you set off, as you'll die of thirst climbing the volcano. There are small shops on the mountain selling souvenirs, biscuits, water, and drinks. A small bottle of water costs two euros.
