He's one of those people who truly make a difference: knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and able to describe Venice and its islands with infectious passion. Thanks to him, we discovered hidden corners and fascinating stories not found in guidebooks, and we had an authentic, relaxing, and super-organized experience. Burano was an explosion of color and tradition, while Torcello, with its silence and magical atmosphere, left us speechless. The boat was comfortable and the guide was informative and clear.
In Murano, the glass blowing is fantastic to see, the glass master just makes it look so easy
In burano, so pretty, lovely to get a small bite to eat and head back
There isn’t much to do on either of these islands but the relaxed pace and the beautiful setting is enough.

A very good value for the money. We really enjoyed Burano including the brief intro to lace making, the shops and cafes. While Murano glass is gorgeous, too much time was allocated to visiting just one high end glass shop.
