A beautiful moment away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful tapestries. Very good glossy translations in each room allowing a good understanding of the works and history. Surprised that the ambient humidity is not better "treated" by air conditioners.

The pass served me perfectly. I used it on the Metro, at the Galata Museum of the Sea, and at the San Lorenzo Cathedral Tower. You need to validate your pass at the tourist office. Just go to the San Giorgio Metro Station and follow the signs as you exit the station. However, using Google Maps will be necessary to find it, although it's easy.

What a great aviation museum! We visited on a rainy Saturday and despite the large number of people it never felt crowded. When we arrived we were greeted by one of the museum volunteers, Keith. He was very friendly, helpful and eager to tell us all about the museum and which displays were located in which parts of the facility and explained the map/brochure in detail. The facility is well laid out and has a good balance of airplanes on display, an entire section on space travel, as well as a few interactive displays that are great for aviation enthusiasts of all ages. We really enjoyed the aircraft that were displayed outside (open air, but covered so you stay out to the rain) and had fun being able to see the interior of a B747, B787, Air Force One and a retired Concorde. For us, it was worth the price of admission. Discounts are available on the entrance fee, see details on their website. They offer a AAA discount and offered the same discount with our CAA card.
