Reviews: one-day tour of Wengji Ancient Village + Nuogan Ancient Village + Jingmai Mountain [Pure Play Business Group of 4-8 People]

The luckiest thing about this trip to Jingmai Mountain was meeting Master Yan! Not only is his driving superb, making the winding mountain roads smooth and safe, but he's also a veritable "walking map" and a "know-it-all." He knows every ancient tea forest and village in Jingmai Mountain like the back of his hand. Along the way, he explained a great deal about Pu'er tea and the local Bulang and Dai ethnic cultures and customs, making our journey full of fun and enriching experiences. Master Yan is warm, honest, and incredibly attentive. He flexibly adjusted the itinerary according to our interests and even took many beautiful photos for us. We are truly grateful to Master Yan for making our Jingmai Mountain trip so perfect! If I ever come to Jingmai Mountain again, I will definitely look for Master Yan again!

Driver/ Guide was very informative and professional. It was a long tour with many stops but it was planned well - the overall itinerary was very much focused on places of interest. The trip to the villages was a highlight for us.

I accompanied my parents, who are in their sixties. Because of the saying "China's Pu'er tea, the world's Jingmai Mountain," we made Jingmai Mountain the most anticipated part of our trip. Although the journey was long and the mountain roads were bumpy, our driver, Mr. Zhang, was incredibly skilled and drove very steadily. He was also incredibly humorous, introducing the local customs and culture along the way, making the bumpy ride quite enjoyable. We had a wonderful time all day. The itinerary was very well-planned. Entering the vast tea forest brought a sense of peace. I don't usually drink tea, but I couldn't resist trying several kinds by the roadside. I highly recommend a plant called "crab's claw," which grows on ancient tea trees—it's delicious. The two villages we visited were very unique. Although there was a bit of commercialism, it felt just right. The people in the villages were very welcoming. One shop had incredibly delicious homemade black tea ice cream and even gave us a large rice cake. On the way back, we heard there would be a performance competition between the villages that evening, which must have been very lively. I guess that's a bit of a disappointment, but I'll definitely go again next time.

The rainforest hike was an unforgettable experience; my child and I had a fantastic time. My child was incredibly excited, splashing in the streams and swinging on the jungle swings like a little wild child. I also rediscovered the joy of childhood; it had been so long since I'd felt so relaxed, like a child again, experiencing a close connection with nature. I sincerely recommend everyone try hiking in Xishuangbanna! We hiked the Xinsi Tu area; highly recommended—fun and relaxing!

The driver contacted us the night before and arranged a time to pick us up. He arrived promptly at 8:00 AM the next morning, about a half-hour drive away. The entire trip took about 5 hours. The first 4 hours were very relaxing, mainly for sightseeing and taking photos, and the roads were easy to walk. The last hour was quite challenging. Overall, it was a great experience. I was very lucky to have met our guide, Brother Bao, who was the most enthusiastic and patient guide I've met in recent years. He took us crabbing, foraging for wild vegetables and eating wild fruits, and introduced us to the customs of various ethnic groups. He carried our water and raincoats the whole time and even brought us some nuts from his home. When it was time to part, everyone was very reluctant to say goodbye. It was a truly perfect trip.

The staff provided excellent service and were concerned about our safety. They advised us to report any problems immediately. There was a WeChat group with the driver where we could type in everything, but we had to use Chinese.
