Amazing! Our tour guide, Jay, was great! Fluent English, great explanation, very helpful when you have questions. One of the best tour guides I’ve had so far since arriving in China. The places we visited are also beautiful. But since we’re trying to squeeze everything into 1 day, obviously, you won’t have detailed history of each place. Jay did his best though IMO. The lunch was also good. Got to taste 北京烤鸭 (Beijing duck), Kungpao chicken, and plenty other dishes (can’t remember the name though).★

Today's guided tour of the Temple of Heaven was a perfect experience! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, meticulously explaining the architectural aesthetics and acoustic wonders of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Circular Mound Altar, and captivatingly recounting the ritual procedures of the Ming and Qing dynasties' sacrificial rites to Heaven and the underlying philosophy of "harmony between Heaven and humanity." The guide spoke at a moderate pace throughout, was enthusiastic, and catered to both the elderly and children, proactively answering questions without any pressure to make purchases. What I initially thought would be just a stroll through a park turned into an immersive cultural feast. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone visiting the Temple of Heaven!★

I highly recommend our tour guide! Prince Gong's Mansion has so many stories; without a good guide, it would be a rushed experience. Guide Li has a profound understanding of Qing Dynasty history, ancient architecture, and especially the culture of "Fu" (福, meaning good fortune), bringing the stories behind every detail to life.
