We really had a wonderful day at the temples and the palace. Beautiful to see. For a small extra charge, we even booked a boat trip to the Summer Palace. A nice mixed international group. The tour is in English and our guide Gary speaks the language well. He has an incredible amount of knowledge and knows how to convey it to the group in a very fun and pleasant way. Great guy!! I would recommend this tour. We visited the temple of heaven first - this was quiet as it was about 8.30am. Then we went to Tiananmen Square - lots of checkpoints to get in but worth it. Finally we went to the forbidden city. Annie was a fantastic guide - she was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites and had great English. Also she ensured there were lots of photo opportunities! Tip - take food and water with you or buy some when you can as there isn’t an official lunch break. I would highly recommend this tour and Annie as your guide!★

Guide Cui is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Temple of Heaven, its ancient architecture, and the ritual stories behind the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Circular Mound Altar, and the Echo Wall. His explanations were clear and easy to understand, making the ancient imperial rituals for worshipping Heaven, the colors, the architecture, and the symbolism of the numbers all vivid and engaging. He managed the two and a half hours perfectly. It wasn't just about taking photos; I gained a deeper understanding of the profound traditional cultural heritage behind the Temple of Heaven's ancient architecture. The visit was very rewarding and highly recommended!★

Guide Zhao was very responsible and cultured 👍🏻 What impressed me most was that at the Circular Mound Altar, he bravely appealed to the crowd not to step on the Heavenly Heart Stone, which represents the deities. Although it had little effect, his strong sense of cultural conscience was still palpable. Thank you so much for this excellent guided tour; it was very rewarding! ^-^★

I highly recommend our tour guide! Prince Gong's Mansion has so many stories; without a good guide, it would be a rushed experience. Guide Li has a profound understanding of Qing Dynasty history, ancient architecture, and especially the culture of "Fu" (福, meaning good fortune), bringing the stories behind every detail to life. We'll definitely hire Guide Li again next time!★

Thank you so much to our guide, Sonya, for a very interesting and informative tour! You can enjoy visiting two different sights in one day, even though they're located on opposite sides of the city! Even the rain didn't stop us from hearing and seeing the truly impressive history of the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven! The rain added a special touch! We were initially disappointed by it, but then, seeing the videos and photos, it was a relief.
