Reviews: Florence: Pasta Cooking Class with Unlimited Wine
Guest User2024-10-15
I took this class with Francesca in early September. Francesca was so lively and did a very nice job of ensuring everyone understood and heard each and every step. After reading some reviews I wasn’t sure if I was going to actually learn how to make the sauces; Francesca explained the entire process step-by-step. A month later, I was able to accurately re-create a Tuscan Ragú with homemade pappardelle. The wine was great. The people were great. It was an overall excellent experience. Thank you, Francesca, for sharing your family recipes! I came before the rest of my group came to Italy; I wish I would’ve been able to find some thing for our large group just like this!

It was a memorable experience learning how to make pasta and tiramisu from scratch, especially on a farm in a dedicated cooking class kitchen in Tuscany. I really enjoyed the food market tour as well prior to the ride over to the cooking class. Luca was enthusiastic and made the experience even more enjoyable with his humor and knowledge. I highly recommend this experience to others!
Reviews: Montepulciano: Winery Tour & Tasting Experience

This was a great experience in learning about the history and process of winemaking in the region. Ettore, our guide was excellent at explaining different soils and grape varieties in how they produce certain vintages. Tastings were excellent, plate of salumi, formaggio e pane went well with the wine. The only thing that would have made it 5 stars, would have been a trip to the vineyard, which they are working on.

Excellent value for money. The most memorable part was making the pasta for ravioli and tagliatelle. It exceeded my expectations. Roberta, a great chef and a wonderful teacher, shared her passion and excellent technique. She was in such a good mood that she kept the group going at 9:00 AM on January 1st! Almost 5 hours of cooking class with tasting and lunch included. Fantastic! Thank you, Roberta, I enjoyed learning from your culinary wisdom. Hugs
