Reviews: Kanchanaburi Day Tour: Erawan Waterfall, Safari Park, Bridge over the River Kwai, Death Railway
Guest User2025-12-22
The driver arrived at the hotel on time for pick-up and drop-off. There was plenty of time to buy food and coffee nearby. Train arrival times aren't always punctual, but the driver reminded us when to board, which was a plus. Taking the train to the next attraction was a good experience. The zoo was quite unique and worth a visit.
Reviews: From Bangkok: Elephant Sanctuary and Kanchanaburi Tour
Guest User2026-01-06
The Elephant sanctuary was the most amazing place, the staff were superb and the elephants were very much loved and cared for. Huge tick for the bucket list, literally brought tears to my eyes. Lunch was tasty and a good selection, bottled water was offered/provided. We took t-shirts and shorts as suggested but they didn’t seem to mind shorts and bikini tops (women) and shorts and bare chest (men). Didn’t get too long at Bridge and initially they were ferrying us from there to elephants but when I said we wanted to do the cemetery (as per our tour) it wasn’t an issue and we went there, we didn’t get very long. So if that’s your main reason for booking the tour and not the elephants this isn’t the deal for you. For me it was the perfect balance but I know my partner would have liked a bit longer with the historical side.

Reviews: [Private] Kanchanaburi Tour – Death Railway Ride + Erawan Falls + Choice of Elephant or Malika

Our tour to Erawan and Kanchanaburi was exceptionally well organized, and much of that success was thanks to Tony. His professionalism, clear communication, and deep knowledge of the region added significant value to the experience. Tony managed the schedule efficiently, provided relevant insights . His calm demeanor, attention to detail, and consistent support made this one of the most reliable and well-executed tours we have taken. We highly recommend Tony for anyone seeking a high-quality guided experience.
Reviews: Erawan Waterfalls and Bridge Over River Kwai Tour from Bangkok
Guest User2025-11-15
Amazing tour with a chance for a boat ride along the river for the best views of the Bridge Over River Kwai. Optional food stop for a great taste of traditional Thai food then up into the Erawan Waterfalls for breathtaking views and swimming. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. Mini van was clean, comfortable and air-conditioned.
Reviews: [Private Transfer] Safari Park Kanchanaburi + RIVER KWAI BRIDGE + Death Railway day tour|Private tour

If you are looking for a day trip from Bangkok that offers more than just shopping and temples, this Kanchanaburi itinerary is an absolute must-do. It was the highlight of my Bangkok trip! The day started with a bang at the famous bridge. It's a beautiful spot for a stroll. Standing on such a significant piece of World War II history while looking out over the peaceful river was the perfect way. Then, walking along the historic wooden viaducts of the Death Railway was a surreal experience. The railway hugs the side of a cliff with the beautiful River Kwai flowing directly below. Watching the train slowly pass over the vintage tracks is a moment I won't soon forget. It's a powerful mix of stunning natural scenery and sobering history. Finally, the highlight was definitely the Giraffe Encounter at Safari Park. Getting to feed these gentle giants from the bus-or opting for the private Jeep photoshoot-was incredible. The giraffes are so friendly and hungry! It's an interactive experience.
